Gathered by the shimmering blue poolside of Lawrence Family JCC, a group of high school students clad in neon pink speedos stands out against the backdrop of giant posters displaying water polos, pink ribbons, and slogans. Leading a group of boys in bright pink swim trunks, we raise funds for cancer awareness advocated by Susan G. Komen. The atmosphere is filled with excitement and determination as we swim lap after lap, the water seemingly echoing our shared goal – raising awareness for breast cancer. Looking back now, that day marked the beginning of a transformational journey that would shape my life trajectory and redefine my understanding of success.

Competing in swimming has always been my passion. From a young age, I dedicated countless hours to training, pushing myself to stand out in the pool. The thrill of [winning Junior Olympics in the 100 fly] and the adrenaline rush of competing against peers fueled my ambition for greatness. But standing on the front lines of a fundraising event surrounded by friends and supporters, I realized there was more to life than winning medals and honors.

The philanthropic education at my school exposed me to the power of compassion and empathy. Figures like Cristiano Ronaldo, through his foundation, engaged in numerous charitable activities, including supporting underprivileged children and advocating for healthy lifestyles. Liam Payne once said, “We all have a responsibility to help those who need it, and that’s something I’ve always believed in.” He used his influence and social media platforms to advocate for people to pay attention to and support various social issues, encouraging active participation in charitable activities.

Looking ahead, I knew I wanted to make a difference in others’ lives. But the question remained – how could I translate my passion for swimming into meaningful action? Subsequently, my brother and I founded the Bamboo Club Foundation, aimed at urging people to protect endangered animals such as pandas and support marginalized groups in my community. Through numerous charity events like animal art exhibitions to raise funds for panda Baiyun and sports swimming competitions to raise awareness for the cause, I gradually realized the answer. I realized I had the opportunity to use my athletic abilities to inspire change and promote social welfare.

My dream is simple yet profound – to use swimming as a platform for charity and community engagement. As a lifeguard at the YMCA community, I ensure children’s swimming safety. Organizing swimming clinics and fundraising events, I raised funds to research and produce a water sports – injury to safety – education manual. To help young children understand, I even utilized 3D printing technology to create a series of action models, explaining safety protocols to children and parents. As a water polo team captain and swimming team captain in the school community, I lead team members out of mere competition mode and into philanthropic activities. It all started with the story of the pink speedo.

As I dive into the pool and the water envelops me in its embrace, I feel a sense of purpose wash over me. With each stroke, I propel myself forward, not just towards the finish line, but towards a future full of possibilities and potential. The boy who once sought victory for himself now seeks it for others, using his talents and passion to change the world.

In the end, what defines my success is not medals or honors, but the lives I touch and the spirits I uplift. As I look to the future, I know the greatest reward is the opportunity to give back to society and positively influence the world around me.

So I have a dream. A dream that is both specific and grand—a dream to establish a Super Pool, similar to the Super Bowl. This event will become a global phenomenon, attracting top swimmers to compete and inviting celebrities from all fields to participate in charitable activities. Unlike the Super Bowl, this Super Pool will not only be about power, fashion, advertisements, and profit. It will be a grand event that integrates [creates a sense of community for all people regardless of status.] love, communication, spirit, and forward striving. Through this event, we will raise significant funds for charity, enhancing society’s awareness and support for various public welfare causes. This event will become a global phenomenon, attracting top swimmers to compete and inviting celebrities from all fields to participate in charitable activities, using their influence to inspire more people to get involved in philanthropy.

The Super Pool will combine cutting-edge technology and creativity to provide an unprecedented visual and sensory experience meant to enhance audience engagement. We will spread charitable messages that promote awareness about multifaceted issues such as endangered animals worldwide through extensive media and social platform coverage, increasing support for our public welfare efforts.
The Super Pool itself will blend the latest technology and creativity, providing the audience with an unprecedented visual and sensory experience, enhancing their engagement and awareness. Through widespread media and social platform coverage, we will transmit charitable messages worldwide, helping more people understand and support our public welfare efforts.

This is my dream. A dream to change the world through swimming, a dream to connect people through love and dedication. With my pink speedos and a heart full of dreams, I will continue to swim, stroke by stroke, towards a brighter and more compassionate future.
